Introduction

 

 

Nanomaterials Study Group Meeting will be held again within the Computational Materials Research focus group on June. 11, 2010 at the Tunghai University in Taichung . The main purpose of this study group is to provide a platform for the CMR focus group members to report their new results on a regular basis. We hope that the nanomaterials study group meeting would promote, boost, and encourage collaborations among the members. There is no limitation imposed on the uses of various methodologies (tight-Binding method, first principle calculations, quantum Monte Carlo and etc.) as well as the research subjects (surface system, bulk materials, nanotubes, graphene, and etc.) within the group meeting .

 

We welcome you to contribute either a 30-minute, 40-minute, or 50-minutes talk in this meeting on June 11. Please feel free to email F.-C. Chuang ( fchuang@mail.nsysu.edu.tew ) by May 19, and your talk will be scheduled in the meeting.
