The 2020 International Workshop on Quantum Computing will be held in New Taipei City, Taiwan from 31st August - 1st September, 2020, in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of Quantum Computer Projects supported by our Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) of Taiwan. The International Workshop aims to provide a premier interdisciplinary platform for prestigious researchers to present and discuss the most recent discoveries, trends, and opportunities, as well as challenges and practical solutions in the fields of quantum computing. The keynote speakers of the workshop include Prof. Yasunobu Nakamura (RIKEN and University of Tokyo, Japan), Prof. Lieven Vandersypen (Qutech, Delft University of Technology, Netherlands), Dr. Iuliana Radu (imec, Belgium) and Prof. Hyunseok Jeong (Seoul National University, South Korea). We have also invited principal investigators of the major Quantum Computer Projects in Taiwan supported by MoST to report the progresses that have been made so far. The workshop will promote the multidisciplinary collaborations between academic and industrial parties, and will strengthen and enhance the development of the quantum computer technology in Taiwan in the coming quantum era.

Notes:
Due to the COVID-19, there are still some travel and entry restrictions imposed by governments. Thus, the keynote speeches of the overseas speakers will basically be delivered online through the Internet while the talks by the invited domestic speakers will be given on site at the workshop venue.
