TITLE | Edge state transport of 2D Topological insulator through a quantum dot |
ABSTRACT | We study a non-equilibrium transport through a quantum dot coupled to two fermionic leads made of interacting helical edge state electrons of 2D topological insulators.Via the Keldysh perturbation theory, we obtain the exact non-equilibrium current and conductance for non-interacting dot. For weakly interacting dot the equation of motion approach is used to obtain approximate non-equilibrium current. We find in both cases the conductance sensitively depend on thenteraction strengths in the leads. Relevance of our results in experiments is discussed. |
