TITLE | Phase transition in quantum Hall system |

ABSTRACT | Quantum Hall effect is the well-established effect showing robust phenomena in transport due to the underlying topological states. In this talk, I will first introduce the notion of topological phase transition in terms of quantum anomalous state represented by the Haldane honeycomb model. In the second half, I will switch to the view of entanglement spectrum with which we can explore another topological transition by varying the partition. An interesting band structure is emergent at the critical partition, and the number of band crossing has exact correspondence with the Chern number of the integer quantum Hall state. |
