Position Description:

     The National Center for Theoretical Sciences at National Cheng Kung University (Tainan, Taiwan) invites applications for two tenure-tract and nontenure-track positions on all levels, effective February 1, 2008. Qualifications include a Ph.D. and outstanding promise in research and teaching. Applicants from all areas of mathematics, applied mathematics or other related fields such as statistics, operations research, mathematical economics and computational mathematics will be considered. Duties include dedicated and effective teaching (using Mandarin) at the undergraduate and graduate levels and commitment to research.
